How Numstro Works

Get Excel formulas from your data in three simple steps

1

Upload Your Data

Upload a CSV or Excel file, or paste data directly from Excel. Numstro supports files up to 1,000 rows and 100 columns. Your data is processed in memory only and never stored on our servers.

Supported formats:

  • CSV files (.csv)
  • Excel files (.xlsx, .xls)
  • Pasted data from Excel
2

Ask Your Question

Describe what you want to calculate in plain English. Numstro's AI analyzes your column headers and data structure to understand what you need.

Example questions:

  • "Sum sales where region is North and product is A"
  • "Average points for centers who have played 60-70 games"
  • "Count orders where amount is greater than 100"
3

Copy and Paste into Excel

Numstro generates a ready-to-use Excel formula with an explanation. Simply copy the formula and paste it into your Excel or Google Sheets spreadsheet. The formula will calculate using your actual data.

Note: Numstro generates formulas but does not calculate results. Excel or Google Sheets will do the calculation when you paste the formula.
